UNISYS SourceNDP cheque reader

The SourceNDP is an entry level cheque reader from Unisys intended for low volume or distributed image capture from cheques and other small documents. The cheque reader offers front and rear image scan at 45 documents per minute, magnetic MICR read and optional rear inkjet endorser. It interfaces to a host system via a direct Ethernet connection which allows up to five SourceNDP cheque readers to be attached to a single host.

Endorser

Fully programmable and flexible height to meet your specific needs. The rear ink-jet endorser provides a non-impact endorsement. The height of the endorser can manually be set to one of three adjustable heights and is designed for easy replacement by the operator of the cheque reader.

Track

Minimised footprint due to unique design of the cheque reader. The patented turn-around track enables capture of a front image and a fully encoded rear image with a single camera.

Image Capability

Captures five high quality images at 45 items per minute. The SourceNDP cheque reader provides the ability to capture five images at track speed, front and rear (CCITT for data entry, JPEG for archive, and a high resolution image for character recognition).

Pockets

Multiple pockets allow out sorting of selected items. Items can be sorted to one of two output pockets each holding 100 documents. Both pockets are adjustable to document length.

Document Feed Button

Minimal operator training is required due to a simple start/stop button located on the top of the SourceNDP cheque reader that is used to begin or halt the flow of documents.

AutoFeeder

Facilitates unattended operation for high processing efficiency. The 80-100 item automatic document feeder coupled with a double document detector allows for unattended operation for high processing efficiency.

Reader

The SourceNDP cheque reader lowers your total cost of ownership with high MICR, OCR, barcode, and CAR read rates and accuracy.
