PANINI S1 VISION cheque processor

The S1 Vision cheque processor from Panini is designed for distributed image capture in the back office of bank branches or other low to medium volume scanning applications. It has a track speed of up to 170 dpm and includes upstream front and rear image capture, 800 document autofeeder, magnetic MICR read, rear inkjet endorser and four sorter pockets.

The S1 Vision 120 cheque processor features a track speed of 120 documents per minute (dpm) and is ideal for back office cheque image and data capture. Four large pockets allow for pre-sorting of items, thus minimising the amount of sorting required at central operations and also allow for earlier item truncation. Images and MICR code line data are available immediately and are transferred throughout the banking day to the operations centre where power-encoding is performed.

The S1 Vision 170 cheque processor features a track speed of 170 dpm and adds performance where daily volumes are significant and time is critical. When implemented for bank distributed item capture this cheque processor is ideal for large branches and cluster or regional centres that collect items deposited in a number of smaller branches. Additionally, the S1 Vision 120 cheque processor can be upgraded to an S1 Vision 170 to handle volume growth, thus giving longer life to the initial investment.
