| How to find usBy road Leave the M4 motorway at Junction 13 and follow the A34 dual carriageway south. You will immediately pass a service station on your left. About a mile later there are two exits on the left; you need to take the second of these which is signposted A339 Central Newbury. At this point you have left the Newbury bypass and are heading south towards Newbury town. Continue on the dual carriageway for about 2 miles. Go straight ahead at the roundabout for the Vodafone HQ. Take the left lane at the next traffic lights and follow the second exit, signposted A4 Thatcham; go straight ahead at two sets of traffic lights which are very close together, straight across at the roundabout by B&Q and then right at the next traffic lights. You are now in Hambridge Road. Hambridge Lane is a left turn at the first mini-roundabout. We are almost at the end of Hambridge Lane on the left. The Rochford Thompson building has a very distinctive green and blue colour scheme. Ignore Cyril Vokins Road - the car park entrance is the turning after the building. By rail Newbury is on the main line from London, Paddington with a regular
service at least once an hour throughout the day. If possible, avoid
services which require you to change trains at Reading and pick an Intercity
train which normally has two stops and takes about 40 minutes to reach
Newbury. Rochford Thompson's office is a five minute taxi ride from
the main Newbury Station. The Newbury Racecourse station is not recommended
as it has no taxi service and is a 10 - 15 minute walk from Rochford
Thompson. |
